Ford Windstar Repair Question :: 2003 Ford Windstar  brief missing when cold

Engine Performance problem

2003 Ford Windstar  6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 69000 miles

My 2003 Windstar van with the 3.8 motor missed for a few moments upon startup.  But after a few moments, the car runs fine, and does not miss.  The local dealer said that the six gaskets under the plastic air intake ofter fail and caused missing when cold.

Does this seem correct to you?  Any prior experience with this problem?

Thanks.
