Chrysler Town and Country Repair Question :: 2001 Chrysler Town and Country  Code P0601

Computer problem

2001 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl  Automatic 45,000 miles

I have a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country and the check engine light came on a few days ago, I turned the key 3 times to get the code on the odometer and code P0601 came up. From research I've done it appears I need to replace the PCM. My car is running fine. My question is we are leaving for Disneyland in a few days, 800 miles roundtrip. Is it necessary to get the PCM replaced before we leave, since I am having no symptoms. Last thing I want to be is stranded half way to LA.
